Good nutrition is a vital part of weight loss and maintaining a healthy physique.

Dated wellness beliefs have led many to believe that cutting out certain "bad" food groups is the key to achieving a trim waistline. 

Unfortunately, those beliefs have become ingrained in many people's minds.

Food groups such as carbohydrates, fats, and sugars, have the worst reputation and are usually avoided like the plague by people who are looking to shred some kilos.

The problem with cutting out these food groups, however, is that it is simply not sustainable. 

Cutting out foods from your diet – especially foods that you really enjoy – could lead to instances of binging and overindulging.
