A Durban North shooting on Sunday, which claimed one life and saw a group of women being injured is said to have occurred at a known brothel in the plush suburb.
Two independent sources, including one within the police, have told News24 the premises where the shooting occurred was known for featuring sex work.
The posh area was thrust into the spotlight after a day-time shooting claimed the life of one woman and left three others wounded.
