South Africans can expect morning fog over the west and south coast of the country, with thunderstorms and rain forecast over the central and eastern interior, according to the South African Weather Service.

The wind along the coast will be a light southerly north of Cape Columbine at first. Otherwise, a moderate north-westerly to westerly becoming a moderate to fresh south-westerly to southerly along the entire coastline in the afternoon is expected.
