Western Cape police have confiscated R4.6 million in cash stashed in travel cases and 16 expensive watches at the house of a suspect in Claremont, Cape Town.
The police claimed the weekend raid came after they had earlier detained the suspect.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa said officers descended on the premises as part of protracted investigations into organised crime.
