High-heels for babies?

accreditation
We all love to marvel at the flawless, soft skin of a baby’s feet. The unchapped heels, sweet-smelling toes with their fragile nails- why, then, would we try and cram them into high-heeled shoes?

That’s right. In some major shopping cities in the world, you can find high-heeled fluffy “crib shoes” with a pink satin lining especially designed for babies of 0-6 months.

Pointless pumps and wasteful wedges
Most of us have seen trainers and little patent leather shoes and thought, “oh, how terribly cute!”, but we know, deep down, that they will never be used to stride into childhood. Shoes for babies have soles which never earn scars, and, more often than not, end up dropping off one by one as you are carrying your child to the changing station in the mall.

If it’s a little chilly, then knitted booties are useful (although, blankets and baby-gros do the job), and, when baby starts crawling, of course it’s a good idea to start looking into footwear, but stick to practical footwear which will enhance your child's development.

Why, why, why would you buy high-heeled shoes for your immobile baby?
