There's nothing worse than the feeling of helplessness when you can't understand (or help) your unhappy, crying (or screaming) baby.

Recently a dad took to Facebook to warn other parents about an unexpected cause for his 19-week-old baby's pain.

After Molly (his little one) had been screaming at lunch time she began overheating.

Scott and Jessica (Molly's parents) thought to remove Molly's socks to help keep her temperature down.

Once the socks were off, Jessica found the cause of it all, wrapped around poor Molly's toe.

A hair tourniquet that must have been stuck around the toe for quite some time had become so tight that it was cutting off the circulation to Molly's toe, cutting through the skin.

Molly's parents appeal to all parents to check their baby's toes for hair strands. If left undetected and untreated it could become infected, leading to bigger problems down the line.
