A bride has attracted some unwelcome criticism after choosing to strap her newborn baby onto her wedding dress and drag him down the aisle on her wedding day, reported Buzzfeed.

The Tennessee woman, Sharon Brooks, stated that the one-month-old infant was secure and alert after people began criticising the images on her Facebook account. The wedding snaps show a baby riding the train of what appears to be an altered wedding dress.

In God We Trust

Brooks fought back- together with the support of some of her friends she insisted the baby was completely safe and that they would do whatever they wanted, because everything would work out fine as long as “Jesus was on their side.”

The baby wasn’t harmed, so perhaps it was just an off-the-wall way of including him in the wedding- after all- mom would have had her hands full already with her bouquet and vows.

Baby training- you're doing it wrong!

Her critics do have a point. A baby does need to be protected against major knocks, bumps and shaking. It’s hardly possible to control what’s going on behind you if your baby is being dragged along the floor, so there is an element of risk involved.

A pram would be a great idea if you need to bring baby along the wedding. You could even look at decorating the outside of the pram to coordinate it with any wedding decoration theme.

What suggestions do you have for incorporating a baby into a wedding?
