The rugby ball position
This is a great position for moms with big breasts and restless babies.
In the ‘rugby ball’ position, Baby lies tucked under your arm. His head is cradled firmly in your hand and your other hand is free to support your breast or stroke his head. Baby is raised to a comfortable height on a pillow. You will need to lean forward slightly when feeding in this position, and it helps to rest your feet on a low stool and to prop a pillow behind your back. This position is good for restless drinkers.
