Recently, the Daily Mail reported on Kim Kardashian saying that she won't breastfeed in public.

This despite her son's constant demand to be fed, which means she's sleep deprived.

We admire Kim for being so open about her personal journeys through motherhood, however we feel there should be no shame when it comes to breastfeeding in public.

Kim is no amateur when it comes to showing some skin (see below images), yet she was quoted saying that she would never breastfeed in public, unless it was an emergency.

"Now that I'm a mom, I say whatever makes you comfortable goes. I still personally wouldn't breastfeed at a restaurant with a bunch of people I didn't know staring at me. I've seen this before and remember tweeting how shocked I was.

Now that I'm a mom, I'm not that shocked, especially if you have a few kids and can't leave to breastfeed one kid in the bathroom while leaving the others at the table. But I still personally wouldn't do it, unless it was an emergency situation and I was fully covered.

I would however breastfeed in front of my girlfriends. I think it's such a natural experience and I'm not shy about that."

It hasn't crossed our minds that Kim would ever be uncomfortable with people she didn't know staring at her, but there goes. Like Kim, everyone should feel the right to make her own decisions about where and when to breastfeed!

So if Kim's happy to show this in public...

(We're pretty sure a baby in her arms would cover more than this)

Then what's so bad about this?
