DIY: Bubble play
Some easy, simple and inexpensive fun can be had with your baby.

You’ll need:

  • Warm water
  • Large unbreakable container with a lid
  • Straws, wands

Mix up a batch of bubble stuff and store it in the container. Try different combinations of liquid to soap until you have something you like. If you add a little glycerin and a pinch of sugar your bubbles will last longer. Here's another recipe using corn syrup.

Experiment with drops of food colouring to make coloured bubbles.

For fun giant bubbles make a large wand out of a bent coat hanger.
