John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have finally shared their baby boy with the world. The power pair both took to Instagram on Sunday evening with the first pics of their son.
“Our new love – Miles Theodore Stephens,” John shared. Before Chrissy posted the same image on her account an hour later.
“Hello, world! This is Miles Theodore Stephens. We are drowning in his little peeps and nuzzles. Our household feels overwhelmed with love. Thank you for all your well wishes!” she said.
The Green Light singer then took to the red carpet at the 2018 Billboard Awards, where he told E! News the meaning behind his son’s name.
“We named our first daughter, Luna Simone Stephens, and every name we give to our kids I think will have a little bit of musical history to it,” he told E!'s Jason Kennedy. With John referencing civil rights activist and musician Nina Simone.
“Miles of course is the same name as the great Miles Davis and Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together and had Miles Theodore Stephens,” he continued. “When he came out and we hung out with him for a little while, we were like, ‘He looks like a Miles’.”
The snaps come days after the two announced the birth, with Chrissy taking to Twitter to share the news. And the world couldn’t be prouder, with the two sharing tons of adorable moments with daughter Luna we can’t wait to see what’s to come with Miles!
