'I didn't have a dad'
These users share their stories of how they grew up without fathers.

Recently Zimkhitha Mqutheni shared her story with us about how she grew up without her dad

'Some say a child needs both his parents. Maybe yes, maybe no.

'From where I come from, it takes a community to raise a child. Whether there is a father in the household or not that child will grow up healthy and happy. I am full proof of that.'

We asked you to share your stories with us and these were some of the responses we received.
