Disabled toddler gets kicked out of restaurant
There's never an excuse for being judgmental.

Recently a mother and her two daughters were dining out at a family-friendly restaurant, Catherine Duke is a stay-at-home mother and she felt that this was a good way to get out and relax a bit.

I’m positively sure there are many moms who feel the same way sometimes.

Moments after their arrival they were asked to leave the restaurant because the child’s squeaky shoes were bothering another customer.

Sometimes we should stop judging too quickly and rather pay attention to the finer details…

Emma Duke is Catherine’s youngest daughter who is two years old. The little girl suffers from an undiagnosed medical condition. She didn’t walk until she was one year and 11 months due to the fact that the condition led to developmental delays.

Her orthopedist recommended shoes with extra ankle support, the shoes squeak when she walks from heel to toe to let her know that she is walking correctly.

But I mean why would you complain about a toddler’s shoes that are squeaking unless they were running around the whole restaurant?

According to The Stir, selected staff from the restaurant later met with Catherine and Emma and apologized. They mentioned that they want to be a welcoming store.

Are people too quick to judge children?

Have you ever judged someone unfairly?
