First things first
Whether it's a first word or a first step, each moment is special to a parent.
There are certain moments in your child's life that you will never forget. Yes, you may forget the exact time and place that Johnny said his first word but it's the word itself you'll never forget.
The pride-filled moment is something every parent thrives off of. There is never a more happy mommy or daddy when your little one takes his first step. Unfortunately there are also the first bumps and cuts to look forward to aswell!
Here are some kiddie firsts that their parents will never forget.Preacher son?
'Tristan's first word was thank you. Our neighbour promptly decided that it means he's going to be a preacher one day - but looking at how "busy/naughty" he is, I doubt it.' - SumandaOuch!
'Matthew's recently had his first "shiner". He fell very hard on his head! It was over Christmas time and he was just starting to crawl, and was still very unstable and unsure of himself. Shame, he cried for ages and I felt horrible! Now, he falls - shakes himself off - and off he goes again, till the next fall.' -
'The first thing Alyssa could do was dance. Before C could walk, talk or even crawl, she started shaking her booty. Her favourite thing in the world is music. Her first word was 'water' because she liked it so much!' - Alvina
Fashionista in the making
'Nevermind her first word, more importantly was the first time she started noticing fashion! I went to change and found nothing but a light pink tee with glitters that my mom-in-law had bought me. Sure as heck the little 5 month old girlie could not keep her eyes off Mummie's pink tshirt. She stared and stared. I knew, she had noticed, WOW!' - Chubby Mummy
'My son crashed his first hard drive at the tender age of 12 months. He then installed his first virus a few months later. In fact we are anxiously awaiting the launch of his new website... Just kidding he is only 4 years old we’ll have to wait another year or two for that!' - Chubby Mummy
