Charlize Theron’s newly-adopted son Jackson is a lucky kid. Not only does he have one of Hollywood’s A-list sweethearts as a mom, but he also has two dads. Of course, neither of those dads are human, they’re Charlize’s two pet dogs, according to Jezebel.com.
A candid interview with Ellen de Generes revealed that Charlize is relying on her four-legged-friends for support, and, if she is to believed, the two pup-parents are doing a great job.
"From the moment this baby came into our home, those two dogs have never been more in love," she says.
The two dogs are her “two boys”, and they have different parenting roles. Berkley, a terrier mutt, enjoys interacting with baby Jackson, and loves nothing more than to steal the kid’s dummy and chew it himself. Blue, Theron’s pit bull makes sure Charlize wakes up to feed Jackson, and he barks whenever the baby cries.
“He’ll do anything for that baby”, she gushes, adding:
"People keep saying, 'Oh you're a single mom,' and I'm like, 'Actually, I'm not. I got two boys helping me out.' It's incredible."
She recently mentioned that she never intended to raise a baby alone, but that’s just how life worked out.
Some single moms rely on godparents, family and friends for help, but it looks like Charlize has it all worked out. We’re just not sure about the stand-in parents.
