When a new baby is on the way, there are very few mothers who would consider giving birth to a child that could be as long as a toddler. Even less so, one that weighs as much as a toddler too!
The Cessna family recently welcomed a not-so-little girl to their brood and she gave them and their doctors quite a shock.
Newborn Addyson Gale Cessna weighs a whopping 13 pounds, 12 ounces. That's 6.2kg!
Can you imagine giving birth vaginally to a baby that size?
Addyson wasn't only a little on the heavy side but she also measured in at 25 inches long. That's a very long 63.5cm.
Mamma Cessna gave birth to her daughter via C-section after the size and weight of the little girl surprised even the doctors. Dad couldn't be happier that their sons now have a sister and that mom and baby both are doing well.

The world's biggest baby
Believe it or not, Addyson is not the biggest baby ever recorded. According to The Guinness Book of Records, that title goes to a baby boy born to Canadian Anna Bates in 1879 who weighed a massive 10.8kg and was 76cm long. Wow!
Another big baby is George King who was born vaginally in March 2013. He weighed 7.1kg.
