Massive baby born without a Caesarean section
Here’s a terrifying snippet of news, courtesy of AFP:
“Berlin - A 40-year-old woman gave birth Friday to a 6-kilogram baby boy in Berlin without a Caesarean section.
'Our research shows that a baby weighing this much has never been born without an operation in Germany,' said Wolfgang Henrich, the head doctor of the Charite hospital's obstetrics unit.
The baby joins a family of 14 children. The hospital said the mother is herself overweight, weighing 240 kilograms.”
Ow! That’s about all that’s left to add to that story. Or is it? Do you think this mom knew what she was in for? Perhaps, after the first 10 kids or so, she became slack about attending ante-natal classes
Many babies only weigh that much at 6-months old.
