In the current economic climate, restaurants are coming up with all sorts of gimmicks to attract customers, but Gordito’s in Seattle, US has come up with a winner: Take a snap of your baby lying next to their whopping $9 Grande Burrito, and you eat it for free! (The burrito, that is: No babies were harmed in the creation of this campaign).
According to the Daily Mail, the restaurant has attracted so much interest in their Baby Burrito drive that the walls of the establishment are covered with pics of babies, some of whom are dwarfed by the mammoth burritos. The demand has shot up since a patron put up a pic on the sharing site Reddit.
News parents must have an infant under one month old in order to qualify for the deal, which patrons say is enough for two people! We guess that this is one restaurant which you should definitely not go to if you don’t like family-friendly entertainment, but ideal for you if you love taking snaps of your food (and babies!).
