Jack Osbourne’s wife has suffered a tragic miscarriage.

Lisa Stelly confirmed the dreadful news on a blog that she admitted was hard writing.

The couple who were expecting a son, lost the baby last week. Lisa has said that she needed to come to terms with the news before making the announcement. In the blog post she writes ‘I have been dreading this announcement…. I needed some time before being able to say it.’

‘Jack and I lost our baby boy last week. Having a late term miscarriage is by far the hardest thing either of us have ever had to go through.’

According to the Dailymail, the couple who have a 16- month- old daughter, Pearl, are said to be staying positive during this difficult time. ‘It’s important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life’s toughest moments. We never know why things like this happen.’ Lisa was reportedly in her second trimester - between 3 to 6 months pregnant.

Before heading to bed that day Lisa tweeted: 'Cuddling my amazing, sweet hubby & shutting my eyes. Thank you all for the love & support. It means the world.'

Jack and Lisa, both 27, married in October 2012 and announced that they were expecting their second child just one month ago.
