Lady Gaga’s Oprah confession

Celebrities often choose to champion certain causes- Lady Gaga is no exception. She has reinvented herself as an anti-bullying advocate, and, in a forthcoming episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter”, will be telling all to the queen of talk shows.

According to reports at GossipCop, Gaga chats about her recent creation of the Born This Way Foundation which aims at empowering young people by promoting kindness, compassion, empowerment and acceptance and confronting meanness and cruelty. Oprah has already expressed her support for the initiative.

Gaga’s Mama

Gaga’s foundation is run by her mom, Cynthia Germanotta.

During the 2-hour long programme, she opens up about being bullied, saying that “while in middle school, some boys “picked me up and threw me in the trash” for no reason other than to bully her. She says they also called her a “slut”.

She mused about bullying, and said she’d like to find out what motivates bullies by performing a “psychological autopsy”. She insisted that the scars bullying leaves can stay with you for life.
On a slightly more positive note, she also chatted about how close she is to her mom, saying that she often stays with her parents when she’s in New York in her old childhood home.

It may be hard to picture her making the switch from meat-wearing superstar shocker to soccer mom, but she has motherhood high up on her agenda:

“I want kids” — enough kids to field a soccer team. I don’t want to have one kid. I want to have a few. And I want a husband.” She said.
