Since the age of three, Kristina Pimenova- a young model from Russia- has been very successful in her modelling career and recently she’s even been dubbed, “the most beautiful girl in the world”. She's now nine.
But is this girl too young to be a supermodel?
Kristina, who is daughter to former model Glikeriya Shirokova, already has more than two million followers on her Facebook account, though many people are praising her for her beauty, there are also some that are concerned that she might be too young to be called a “babe” and to be complimented on her long legs on her Instagram account which her mother manages.
According to Mail Online, Kristina’s mother, who is also her career manager, she frequently deletes inappropriate comments on her daughter’s social media accounts and put up rules on her Facebook account.
All the content uploaded on her accounts is seemingly innocent but when you think about all the creeps out there, then it’s just better to not have social media accounts at all when you're that young.
It's funny that it's come down to this, when something as innocent as showing off your beautiful child on an Instagram account can be detrimental to them.
This woman is being ridiculed of sexualising her child, but her child has been in the spotlight since the age of three it could be argued that she's used to negative attention.
Superstars start young
Many superstars of today started young, look at Beyonce, she started performing at a very young age as well. I'm sure if there was something similar to Instagram back then, her mother would have uploaded video clips of her performing.
Since Kristina's mother knows the world of fashion and modelling as a former model, she knows exactly what she's doing when uploading those photos to her social media accounts.
Scary comments
Earlier I mentioned that Kristina's mother is sometimes forced to delete inappropriate comments posted by adults, though most of her photos that are uploaded are appropriate.
As a mother, she should be a little bothered by grown men calling her nine-year-old daughter a "babe". That would be the only thing I need to close down my daughter's Instagram account.
I must admit, some photos that Shirokova upload can be age inappropriate, she could have thought twice about uploading them, but when you're a mother everything about your children is beautiful and things wont necessarily look inappropriate to you.
Maybe it's better her mother closes her account for now and when Kristina is old enough she can open it again and manage it herself.
