I've met a man who lost his wife 19 months ago. She died and left him with a daughter of 7 years old.
He was terribly shocked, but had to move on with his life and had to learn to cope raising a child on his own. I must say - he did flippen well.
She is well disciplined, but still longing for a mother. He does everything he can for her and loves her dearly. I've got a daughter of 6 and they are best friends.
He is a very big guy, but do have like in Afrikaans "'n klein hartjie".
We are now in a relationship and both children are happy as it is.
