Mother's day 2011 was actually my 2nd mother's day (my husband forgot about the 1st) which was something so special, it brings tears to my eyes.
Why is it that mommies only get TRULY appreciated for what they really mean and do for those around them?
No, there was no Mother's Day breakfast or lunch (we have 2 little ones, a year apart, sitting down to have a meal is practically impossible). But the fact that we actually went to the trouble to all go out together and spend time with each other was awesome.
To have my husband WITH me and the CHILDREN and not being by myself with them having to try and not lose them, now THAT was special.
It really is only when you have children of your own that you really GET what being a mom is all about.
