My son Tim is 10 and in grade 5. He recently “fell in friends” with Erin, a girl in his grade.
With Valentines Day came a new problem in his life because all the boys who have “girlfriends” are buying valentines gifts.
So – we bought a chocolate heart for Erin, and he asked her to go with him to the Valentines disco at school on Friday night and she said YES!
His little brother Matt who is 7 and in grade 2 ofcourse also needed a chocolate heart (because its only fair!!) but didn’t have a “girlfriend” to give it to so he gave his chocolate heart to his teacher.
Matt is now so badly wanting to go with to the disco that Tim is asking on Matt’s behalf if Matt may go with him and just “play on the big field”!!
All this scheming but his heart is definitely in the right place!!!
Just love them to bits!
