Chad is a Dad and what a Dad is Chad, he loves his little girl even when she makes him mad!
Chad fell in love with Trinity the minute he saw her on the screen in the gynaecologist office.
When he heard the heart beat he instantly become fiercely protective. He sat in the operating room watching them slice me open and gave me the whole commentary live of the birth of our daughter. He always vehemently stated that he would stay with me while they stitched me up as the hospital staff would take care of our daughter as who would take care of me?
Well, the minute she popped out he was like stench on a skunk! The very first days in the hospital were the most bloody awful of the lot because as hard as I tried as a new mom to breast feed and get Trinity to learn to clutch (details not needed I hope). Dad stood there with such aggravating irritation that his daughter was not being fed enough and was going hungry that by the time we left 4 days later she was on a bottle and I was desperately trying to breast feed simultaneously.
Things have been difficult but the only constant that remained was that Chad was a Dad and boy what a Dad was Chad!
I look at this handsome man who looks like a real “breaker”, tattoos (of course the one is of Trinity’s name in big bold beautiful lettering down his arm), skinhead, bulging muscles – a real hottie! Who looks at his daughter and he is putty in her hands.
The softness of his eyes, the gentleness of his touch, the fierceness of his anxiety to protect her and love her and make sure that she wants for nothing is so intense that it’s an emotion so all encompassing that it permeates like an aura around them.
That a man Chad became a Dad and become a man in being a Dad was the most beautiful transformation to watch and in watching the man Chad became a Dad, made me completely mad with love for that Dad...
To be a Dad is a honour, a blessing, a joy, and a gift and the joy and the blessing and the honour you receive for being a Dad makes being a Dad a full circle of joy and love and happiness and cherish memorable moments that no man should ever forget.
My love Chad is the Dad I knew and dreamed he would always be and still he blows my mind at the Dad that he is.
Regards,
Ulandi
