This is actually a most recent event. Due to the stresses of life my husband and I had been at odds for a week with each other.
This past Sunday everything became too much for me and seeing that our house is only so big, when my husband and I came to blows my three and a half year old son was in ear shot. Off course our argument ended in me crying.
Anyway, my husband and I sorted everything out and later decided to visit some friends. As we were sitting with them having coffee, my son suddenly tells them(Translated from Afrikaans): My mommy was crying because my Daddy isn’t coming back.
Off course I was highly embarrassed and was quite stressed as to how many more people he will be telling his story to.
