My Daughter has just turned 3 (August 2012) and although she has always been a smarty pants and has always had a good vocabulary for her age, the other day I realized just how smart and grown up she is for her age!!!!
She was talking on the phone to her Granny and telling granny about her day.
Of course, as a mother, I was listening in on the conversation.
To my surprise, I realized that my little 3 year old was having a proper grown up conversation!!!!
When and how did this happen? What happened to the ramblings of my 2 year old? Its almost as if a conversation switch was turned on once she turned 3!
She was asking granny how her day had been and what did she do at work!
Then my cute little smarty pants was telling Granny about her day and what she was busy doing... She then decided to show Granny something nearby by holding the phone to it! It was hysterical, I nearly fell off my chair laughing! That eased my mind a bit
My 3 year old is not as grown up as she appears to be – much to my relief.
