How I feed my family during loadshedding

I make the kids meals and then freeze them: chicken aka King, beef stew and mac and cheese.

Also have a container of steamed veggies in the fridge which I make each beginning of week: butternut, squash, baby marrow, sweet potato and carrots. Then I just heat whatever they are having on a pan on our cadac gas canister.

But otherwise, cold Viennas, cherry tomatoes and cheese wedges make a good cold dinner.
