I am a single mother. Some time ago I went to a shopping centre and as I drove in, noticed a guy watching me keenly. I parked and was just locking the car when the guy came up and said hi. I returned the greeting and I noticed him checking my left hand for a wedding ring. He told me I was very attractive but that I should remove the 'Baby on Board' sticker from my car - or no man would ever want me because single mothers are spoiled goods. He said I would die alone unless I heeded his good advice. He then said bye and walked away. I was too shocked to respond and am hurt to this day.
Here is another story from when I was pregnant, which is unprintable but just to show the extent of the problem:
When I was about 7 months pregnant I went to a jazz festival and was standing there enjoying myself when a guy I hadn't seen in ages came up to say hi. But his opening line? He stared at my big belly and then triumphantly said at the top of his voice, 'Aha - conquered by dick!'
