Loving Ouma

Ouma is the best thing since sliced bread to Callan (2 years and 3 months of age now).  He loves Oupa just as much, but Ouma is in the VIP seat right now.  I heard once boys reach 3 they tend to be a bit more interested in Oupa and Daddy things.  Oupa and Callan seem to have this silent bond though, an understanding, and I feel they are very alike.  Ouma and Oupa are such a blessing in our lives. We live in Langebaan on the West Coast, Western Cape, and they live in Jacobsbaai which is about 20 minutes down the road from  us. Ouma and Oupa are SO loving and adore their first grandchild to bits and pieces.  We are a Christian family and Oupa is always knocking on our door to come and pray over Callan whenever he gets sick, or when he had to go for his tonsils operation a few weeks ago, or when he started play school for the first time etc.  They are really supportive and eager to assist and advise us where they can.  I think it is such a priveledge in ours and their lives that we live nearby and pray that we always will.  Callan has such a special relationship with them and it teaches him about family and trusting others as well.  We are truly blessed !!!!

Kind regards,

Laura
