My childhood craze

In my day (the 80's) we used to collect writing paper!

So my mom would always have to buy this pack of pretty paper and then I'd swop it out with friends' writing paper.
A friend and I were chatting about it the other day and she said she has kept her box of pretty paper all these years!

My mom used to springclean for me whether I liked it or not, so in one of those mad sprees my papers were probably chucked.

I am glad my daughter has a room full of looms and not silkworms! (Not the best craze in my day, but it was fascinating seeing how mulberry leaves made pink cocoons and lettuce made white... Darn now I've forgotten what we fed the blighters to make yellow cocoons!)
