Me write a dairy! No way, I don’t want my kid to black mail me one day!! Or read it out loud with my 80Th birthday party to everybody!
What I’ve realized is what I do I do as best as I can AT THAT MOMENT, yes next time could be better, but it can also be worse..
Saturday my daughter had a friend who stayed over the nite before. NICE. Some me time.. well, by 9H30 we were all in bed... passed out.
I suppose sleep also counts as me time... LOL yet I had some needle work planned. Hmm.
Saturday, the girls played a bit outside, I called them in when it started to drizzle, and long and be hold I ended up in bed again at 11HOO.
Nothing came of the needle work, not even the plan on letting the girls bake muffins... just didn’t felt like cleaning up the mess afterwards.
Yes, selfish. All my be attentions of being a nice mommy / aunty, got covered under club duvet, while I was watching the movie Ceiling…
The girls seemed to have a good time, tiptoeing around my bed to get to all the puzzles, and faintly I could her arguments about who build the most…
So well looking at that point of view, They were dry and save and educate themselves.. well that is what kids do today, teach them self the things they need/ have to know,
even before you think the time is right.. Will the time ever be right in today’s age and technology? Hmm, I’m way behind and seem to be picking up things from my 6year old. LOL
Last nite I had to pop in by the neighbor quickly, and when I got back, my daughter had dished up her paste, cut a vienna into it and was busy grating cheese before she heated it up.
(Mommy pre cooks on Sunday for the week,, Saves a lot of time and electricity, something I do rite.. LOL), “ Hi mom, I was hungry so I started supper, can I heat yours as well??”
Well.. what can I say, I was stunned, my baby is independent, has grown up so quickly and no there was no mess!!!! Only the dishes we ate out of!!.
So, mm this helped me clear my cons ions about the weekend I were not the perfect mommy and placed me back on the great mommy spot, with dinner being ready, and o a self help bases.
Yeah. Coffee was made as well!
Re the back at school little talk... that happened and yes Bell was exited, but also upset as there will be no more movies during weekdays... and I could see she has had enough of the holidays and were eager to start her lessons again, last nite confirmed it as we had to do some maths and more reading than usual and she was not sleepy at all!
