How do you answer a child when he asks you what is inside the testicles? My son asked me that question last month and I tried to avoid it by asking him to go ask Daddy dearest but he refused and made me promise I will never even tell daddy what he asked. I made a promise and all I could say was there are lots and lots of babies and then another question followed when he asked why his sister does not have them (testicles)?
Of course my answer was it is because your tutus (private parts – that’s what we call them) are not the same but she also has lots of babies somewhere in her body.
My daughter was listening when this conversation was going on but she was quiet, it didn’t matter because I thought she is not interested because she never uttered a word. Now on this particular day, Daddy and Mommy clubbed together to bathe the children and my daughter said to daddy, “you know Motheo in his Tutu has lots of babies”. Then the secret was out but nothing was done about it and I do not know if I did justice to my children by giving that answer or is there any other answer to this question?
Daddy did not entertain it either.
