Educational psychologist
Greg Crighton
Greg Crighton is a school-based Educational Psychologist who also works in private practice in Johannesburg. He has a Masters degree in Educational Psychology and been working with children and in education for 13 years.
His fields of expertise include learning difficulties, academic support, psycho-educational assessments and interventions, subject-choice and career-choice assessments. He provides consultation to parents to promote an understanding of child, adolescent and adult development, and its relationship to learning and behaviour. He has developed programs to support learning and student development.
Greg specialises in short-term solution–focused therapies and crisis intervention with individuals and families. He has previously worked in both government and private school settings, as well as for Childline and Child Welfare, and has presented workshops and research both locally and internationally.
