We asked parents to be scrupulously honest with us about their parenting habits and style. While it was good to discover that most parents are happy and rate their children as happy, there were some interesting results, such as:

• Only babies are more likely to be spanked than those with siblings (17% vs. 2%).
• Around half of both men and women indicated money as cause of conflict, while household chores, second highest on the list, were indicated by 37% of parents
• 69% of parents of girls say that they are easy to parent, with only 54% of parents of boys saying that they are easy to parent.
