Hi Samantha, I am guessing your son goes to a private school or a non - government funded school - if not I beg your pardon! I have found of late - teachers who can not deal with an ADD child or such is suggesting you to put your child on Ritalin is highly under qualified. I'm afraid Ritalin is not the answer, it is not good for your child and has terrible effects for the child later on in their life- you see ADD comes from boredom as Im sure you wouldve been briefed on - you are giving your child medication because he does not find what the teacher discusses as interesting - there are amazing schools such as montessori and free thinking schools which will play to your childs strength, bring out the best in him and help him to mangae with everything.
