Megan de Beyer has a Masters degree in Psychology and is trained in both clinical hypnosis and relationship therapy. Megan practiced in both Cape Town and Durban for 15 years and has participated in numerous international conferences on psychotherapy and holistic healing.
Presently she runs parenting courses in South Africa and California. These include “Strong mothers - Strong sons”- a programme for mums of teen boys; “Laying the Foundation”- a programme for mums of prep boys; “Mothers and Daughters” - a programme for mothers of daughters and “ Compassionate Fathering” - for dads of boys. She is available to run courses for private groups as well as shorter presentations for schools or conferences. She can be booked for family and relationship consultations.

She has worked at the Child & Family Assessment Centre in Pietermaritzburg, the Natal Technikon Counselling Centre, the Westville Hospital in Durban, and the Crescent Clinic in Cape Town, and was on the committee for Childline for 3 years. She ran 2M-Power offering empowerment groups for women with Megan Kruger from 1999-2003. She has facilitated many successful and well-subscribed Mothers and Sons courses at every Independent boys’ school in South Africa and  schools in Marin County, California . She has run Mothers and Daughters courses at St Anne’s, Herschel College and Reddam House.
