Cartoon Network Live!

Rush
Rush is a multi-tournament, multi-platform event for gaming enthusiasts which takes places this month in Pretoria. The show will feature top gamers, big screens, live commentary, cool technology and a chance to win awesome prizes.
Casual gamers and spectators are welcome, but attendees must be 12 and older.

Family fun at the Knysna Oyster Festival
There is lots on the go at the Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival for oyster enthusiasts, fitness fanatics and lovers of the good life – get down to the Festival Pavilion for food choices galore including of course oysters, craft beer and wine, and parents can enjoy themselves knowing the kids will be thoroughly entertained.
The Momentum Health Kiddies area is a fun, secure play zone tailored specially for the littlies. The fun includes everything from arts and crafts, jumping castles and loads more. Open to children from 2 to 12, there is no charge but children must be checked in by their parents/guardians. Support some (very) young local entrepreneurs at the lemonade stand on Saturday, and enjoy some energetic fun exploring at the Orbit Infatable Fun and Games.
Moms or dads can stay active with the 5 km Fun Run along Knysna Waterfront drive on Saturday, or the Houtkapper Trail run on Sunday, consisting of a 9km, 15km and 27km in a scenic forest setting. The Momentum Knysna Marathon and Half Marathon also take place on Saturday, and the ultimate multi-sport event, the Momentum Big 5 Challenge, finishes. Themed Camp at Kikuyu Wildlife Estate
If your child loves the outdoors and is based in, or close to Pretoria East, they might be keen on some camp fun.
Kikuyu Wildlife Estate will be hosting 3-day themed camps; Survivor and the Amazing Race.
Meals will be provided and a team of professional facilitators will take the kids through all the challenges and games.
Suitable for children in Grades 4 to 7, and all fitness levels are welcome.

Noddy
Noddy, the classic children’s character will be visiting the Artscape Theatre in Cape Town this month. Young theatre-lovers will get a chance to see Noddy, Big Ears and friends explore Toyland where they will learn about friendship, hard work, and honesty.
Kids who attend can also look forward to face painting, colouring, puzzles, play tents and bikes before the play begins.

PlayDate SuperPark
A play heaven for Cape Town-based kids ages 0-12 with a range of educational play activities for little thrill seekers.
The indoor extreme activity play park features a variety of obstacle courses, a zip line, a mini golf lane, a 3D maze, racing simulators and loads more.
Children younger than three will get free entrance for the first hour.

The Frozen Experience
The Lilliput Children’s Theatre Company will be showcasing their musical adaption of the happily ever after winter fairytale Frozen.
This live version features the familiars Disney characters Princesses Anna and Elsa, Olaf the Snowman and mountaineer Kristoff who dazzle with sing-alongs "Let It Go", "Do You Want to Build a Snowman", "For the First Time in Forever", “Love is an Open Door”.

Disney On Ice presents Dream Big

Holiday workshop with Bright Young Chefs

Musical theatre holiday clubs
Does your kid have talent? The Johannesburg Academy for Theatre Arts will be hosting musical theatre holiday clubs designed to keep your little superstar entertained.
The clubs are great for all school-going children from age 6 to 16, teaching them the ropes in musicality, expression, voice projection, improvisation and performance.
The workshop takes place over a week but daily attendance is not a must. Those who do attend every day will get a chance to show off their talents at an exciting showcase concert at the end of the week.

KZN Honey Festival
Pietermaritzburg-based families with a sweet tooth might be happy to attend the first KZN Honey Festival.
Hosted by the KZN Bee Farmer's Association, the event will feature a wide variety of local honey, gourmet food, honey tasting and entertainment for the kids.

Brainstorm Escape Rooms
Everyone loves a good adventure and KZN's Brainstorm Escape Rooms is the answer for kids 12 and older who love unraveling a riddle.
Players get to choose between solving a mystery in the Saving Sherlock room or pulling off the perfect heist in the Cabin in the Woods room.
The rooms are big enough to accommodate groups of six, and once inside players have 60 minutes to successfully complete the challenge before 'escaping'.

Peppa Pig Live In SA! - Port Elizabeth
Port Elizabeth's tots will soon be able to meet one of the world's favourite preschoolers, Peppa Pig will be in Port Elizabeth this month.
