If The Greatest Showman isn’t already on your list of favourite movies and you haven’t seen it yet, we’d suggest scheduling a family movie night at your earliest convenience, because this video of P!nk and her daughter singing A Million Dreams just went big. And I’m not crying – you are.

P!nk, along with other artists including Kelly Clarkson and Panic! At The Disco, covered the songs from the film for The Greatest Showman – Reimagined, releasing later this month. But for Pink it was especially magical to cover the song with her little one.

“You made our favourite movie ever,” she told the songwriters in the video above.

“I grew up listening to Annie, and no one has done this for me – for my heart – since I was a little girl,” she continues. She explains she loves that she now has a movie to share with her daughter, a movie they both love, and it’s got a pretty inspiring message too.

The Greatest Showman, which came out in 2017, stars Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, Zac Efron and Zendaya, and follows the legendary circus showman P.T. Barnam. The film opens with Barnam, who starts from nothing, dreaming of celebrating all kinds of weird and wonderful people when he starts his circus. All in the hopes of creating a magical world for his family.

So when Pink covers the song with her daughter and they sing these powerful lyrics – ah, it truly is heartwarming and special:

“Every night I lie in bed, the brightest colours fill my head. A million dreams are keeping me awake. I think of what the world could be, a vision of the one I see. A million dreams is all it’s gonna take. A million dreams of the world we’re gonna make.”

Pink belts the song out and seeing Willow do the same is the sweetest, purest thing. It’s also especially wonderful to see her mom give her cues with a thumbs up afterward for a job well done.

“You’re fun,” P!nk jokes. “I’m glad I had you.”
