Niggly newborn

My son was born prematurely and I was taught to use skin-to-skin kangaroo care with him in hospital. Now that he's older I still use it when he's niggly or unsettled. I take off all his clothes, except his nappy, and lie him on my naked chest and he calms instantly. I've encouraged friends with 'normal' newborns to do the same, and they all rave about how well it works. Try it!
