Rich in calcium , protein and vitamins. Makes about 2 cups.
You can use just about any non-citrus fruit you like, keeping the amount of milk and yoghurt the same.
- ¾ cup of low-fat, plain yoghurt
- 1/3 cup of low-fat milk
- 1 cup of fruit of your choice: strawberries, blueberries, or 1 ripe banana
- 1 tbsp of apple juice
- 1 drop vanilla essence (optional)
- 1-2 ice cubes
Place all the ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth. Serve immediately.
