Abducted in 2002, 4-year-old Sabrina Allen was taken by her non-custodial mother, Dara Llorens.

According to BuzzFeed, the warrant out for Dara's arrest stated that the 44-year-old “intentionally and knowingly abducted the child by restraining her so as to interfere substantially with her liberty, by moving her from one place to another.”

Dara took Sabrina and fled to Mexico in April 2002 after being ordered to turn the young girl over to her father.

After 12 long years and a secret rescue mission, Sabrina has finally been returned back into the care of her father. Sabrina is now 17 years old and is still undergoing medical evaluation. What Sabrina endured or how she was treated is not yet clear.
