See, even princess's need help with newborn babies!

The Duchess of Cambridge met with mothers and babies during a visit to Ely and Caerau Children’s Centre in Cardiff, Wales, recently, where she opened up about her experience as a new mother in an new town.

She admitted she would have welcomed extra support after giving birth to Prince George while she lived in rural North Wales. "It was so isolated, so cut off, I didn’t have my family around me," she told those at the support centre.

She described how her husband, William, was doing night shifts in search and rescue, "so if only I’d had a centre like this at a certain time" she said.

"I want to hear the key issues affecting our families and communities so I can focus my work on where it is needed most. My ambition is to provide a lasting change for generations to come," she said of her motivations for focusing her attentions on the the Under 5s initiative, a landmark survey which gives people across the UK an opportunity to provide their view on raising the next generation.
