Parents need to stop doing this!
Why parents need to stop posting videos of their kids' upsets.

There are countless videos circulating the internet of children throwing tantrums, having emotional melt downs and upsets. (We've included two of them below as examples.)

It's just not funny any more

Most of the time it's one of the parents behind the camera, capturing the moment while winding their child up even more to get a reaction out him/her.

What's worse is that some of these parents use these videos to make money off of Youtube hits or hope to generate commercial, profitable interest.

Kids often get overly emotional about minor things and it's normal not to want to laugh inside. But when a child is on the verge of an emotional breakdown and clearly beside himself, perhaps comforting him or explaining the realities of the situation gently is more necessary than getting kicks out of filming it.

The goldfish funeral

The goldfish funeral had plenty of angry parents questioning this mother's parenting skills:

"I'm not ready for a new president!"

This little girl is beside herself when her mother tells her that Obama will be leaving office. Her mother posted it on to Facebook with a caption that read " "To Use this video in a commercial player or in broadcasts, please email":
