Better known as one-fifth of the world's most famous girl band, these days Victoria Beckham spends her time growing an ever-expanding fashion label and parenting her four children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper – with soccer legend husband David Beckham.

In a recent podcast interview, the former Spice Girl admitted that motherhood has given her a new perspective on the wardrobe that first made her famous.

Inspired by the 10-year anniversary of the Victoria Beckham label, the designer took a trip down memory lane and tried on some of her old Spice Girl outfits and found herself feeling somewhat embarrassed by the now iconic Posh Spice look.

[Let's pause for a moment and consider that she still actually fits into these clothes. Okay! Continue... - Ed.]

"I was amazed at how naked the costumes were... I used to go out with not a lot of clothing on..." she said, adding that for a few of the outfits she couldn't even come out of the dressing room.

When asked if she intended on saving some of the outfits for her daughter, she slammed the idea. "Absolutely not! [Harper] was like, 'Wow mommy, you used to wear really short skirts!’ I said, ‘Yes I did, Harper, and no, you’re not going to’. It’s that classic ‘Do as I say, don’t do as I do’.”

Still, the wife and mom is proud of her career, sharing that she never thought she would end up as successful as she is today.

"You grow in confidence the older you get. I've learnt to trust my instincts... I know what I'm good at and I know what I'm not so good at and I'm okay with that."
