When she signed up as an organ donor Abigail Conner could not have known that by 20 she would no longer be alive and that her heart would be used to save the life of the then 21-year-old Loumonth Jack.
"Knowing he's alive because of Abbey, Abbey is alive inside of him - it's her heart having him stand up straight," Abigail's father, Bill Conner told CBS News after travelling more than 2000km to meet the man whose life his daughter had saved.

In an effort to raise funds and awareness around organ donation, Bill completed a cycling trip across the US continent, biking from Wisconsin to Florida, stopping off in Ventress, Louisiana to meet up with Loumonth.
The bittersweet moment the two men shared is heartwrenching, with Bill immediately tearing up at the sight of Loumonth, and the men sharing a hug before Bill got to hear what his daughter's heart sounds like in a different body.
"He's a really humble kid," Conner said after meeting the young man.
"Obviously, you know, I'm a dad. His parents raised him well. He's very courteous and respectful and he's got an old soul."
