Q&A: How does endometriosis impact my fertility?

accreditation

Endometriosis is the growth of the lining of the uterus (endometrium) outside the body of the uterus, around the pelvic organs including the ovaries, pelvic side wall and bladder. These growths of tissue release certain hormones that influence the egg quality, cervical mucous hostility, implantation of the embryo and it can damage the anatomy of the pelvis.

It is primarily treated by surgery, including burning or cutting away the areas of abnormal tissue.

We believe that stress and its impact on the immune system plays a major role in the development of this problem (www.timeurgency.com to download free e-book Faster, Better, Sicker). We have developed an online stress management course to reduce this specific stress. Our studies have shown that this decreases the operative recurrence rate and improves pregnancy rates.
