What is it?
Ringworm is a contagious fungal infection that can affect the scalp, the body (particularly the groin), the feet, and the nails.  The rash will start like a red pimple, then expand to create the distinctive ring shape. It might be itchy.

How to treat ringworm?


Ringworm can be treated with fungus-killing medicine that may be applied in cream form, or if the infection is widespread, taken orally.
