YouTube footage of toddler steering car leaves viewers aghast.

In what can only be described as a moment of idiocy, an Australian man uploaded footage of himself allowing a toddler to steer a moving car, according to the Mail Online. The boy, who appears to be around 2-years-old sits on the driver’s lap and turns the steering wheel, while the driver occasionally takes over, or shifts the wheel with his thumb. What's most shocking of all, the child isn't wearing a seatbelt.
From cute to handcuffs
Authorities are investigating the footage, which has now been removed, in order to bring charges against the reckless dad. Fortunately, no one was harmed, and, rather than the “aw, cute!” response the driver had surely anticipated, there has instead been widespread condemnation of his actions.
There have been similar cases of parents who clearly need to step back before creating ‘funny’ scenarios in order to amuse their online pals. Previous videos which have sparked safety rows have been babies playing with wild animals or holding alcoholic drinks.
The moral of the story? Your funny video should never put the lives of minors at risk.
Do you agree that this dad made a big mistake by filming his tot driving?
