There are times when there is nothing you can do but turn red, mumble and run away quickly. Those are the times when your little one decides to speak up when you wish they hadn’t!

Here are some of your most embarrassing and hilarious kiddie moments:

Don’t popo!

‘I must just share my very short but embarrassing story with you. We were visiting friends of mine whom I have not seen for a while when I had to go to the restroom. As I politely asked where the restroom  was, my son, aged 2, replied loud enough for everyone to hear ‘Mommy don't popo!’.

I was very shy and softly replied: ‘No sweetie I won’t’. This however was not reassuring enough for him and after I went inside he stood at the door shouting " Mommy! Dont popo!'

I really don't know why he was so alarmed by the thought of me doing the number two. Maybe it is the thought that I will be in there much longer than he preferred.’ Juliet

He doesn’t hit his wife…

‘It was a Sunday afternoon and we were relaxing in the lounge. My youngest son , then about 6, rushed in to say there are people who have moved into our street, and they have children, and can he can go play at their house. I said, No, because I don’t know these people, for all I know the husband hits the wife, they drink and they do drugs. And off he went. He came back 5 minutes later: “Mommy I asked the uncle, and they don’t do drugs and they don’t drink and he does not hit his wife.” Aaaah! I could crawl into the big hole at Kimberley and never come back.’ Marina

Those things you stick in your bum…

‘During our end-of-the month grocery shopping last month, my 5 year old daughter was sitting in the trolley, and as we passed the “Tampax” section she screamed at the top of her voice: ‘Mom, there are those things that you stick in your bum – you better get some.’  Wendy
